The Sunbird Pod was designed to be a luxury Airbnb unit, positioned adjacent to the client’s residence in the beautiful area of Knysna.
While this pod features elegant interior details - such as custom joinery and a quartz countertop - the birch plywood walls preserve the warm, inviting feel of a true Podhaus eco cabin. Functionality and comfort are combined - guests will enjoy their morning coffee at the breakfast bar while taking in the views through expansive bi-folding windows, connecting the interior with Knysna’s stunning scenery.
The Sunbird Pod’s exterior is clad in sleek obsidian polycarbonate sheeting, while large aluminium sliding doors and windows line the walls. With a simplistic yet beautiful design, making the most of the natural surroundings while providing ample space and comfort, the Sunbird Pod ensures a truly magical escape.
