Wooden Cladding, Rainwater Catchment, Rooftop Deck, OTG Utilities
Wooden cladding – The look and feel of real wood is unbeatable that’s why we’ve put in the extra effort to create a long lasting, good looking, quality finish using reclaimed and upcycled wood.
Insulated Roof – A 54 m2 roof provides amble space for rainwater catchment which feeds into your storage tank, provides shade to the deck, and can accommodate enough solar panels to be fully off the grid.
Decking – Our 36 m2 deck doubles your living space, and a rooftop deck allows you to enjoy views from another view. We use wood plastic composite (WPC) decking which doesn’t fade or stain and carries a 20+ year warranty.
Outdoor living – closed off or open, the outdoor bath is a great space to relax and get closer to nature. The breakfast bar is a perfect spot to dine or socialize on the deck.
Modular design – structurally, each pod and their modules (deck, roof, etc.) designed to be modular, meaning it can be installed moved, upgraded or added to very easily.

Smart haus, modern finishes, clever storage, HVAC
Smart haus – Our Pods use incorporated smart home technology which uses Google Home to control your lights, fans and entertainment. The power consumption is also monitored to allow you to track yours or your guest’s usage and encourage cutting down. Overhead, task and mood lighting lets you create any atmosphere you want inside the pod.
Modern finishes – An inhouse interior décor specialist
Clever storage – pods are equipped with bedframe which raises to store things out of sight. We encourage minimalism so have enough storage for essential items.

At Podhaus we currently only have one signature design, but we are happy to accommodate you in a custom design and plan to create your dream space!
Our plan is to create more units to choose from with our next mission to create small studio/office pods using light steel framing and quality materials.
